To anyone in the US in support of CISPA:
How come I’ve not played Uncharted earlier? It’s barely been a week since I bought the trilogy box and I’ve already beaten the first two games. I had to quit playing the 3rd one last night cause my eyes were starting to hurt. Naughty Dog, you’ve still got it.

My sides hurt.
Come on, guys! Another album please!
CAPTCHA-art.
Ok, I do not doubt for a second the sincere goodness in the people who share this on their twitters and facebooks, and I also agree that Kony is an evil man who ought to be stopped. The problem is however, he’s just one in thousands. He wasn’t unknown before this campaign. The USAFRICOM have made several attempts to capture him in the past, always resulting in unnecessary bloodshed. I feel like this campaign is only raising awareness of InvisibleChildren itself, who support a military intervention which would only end in more bloodshed. You remember how chaotic it got in Libya once NATO got involved in hunting down Ghaddafi? So, what I want to say is: By all means, oppose Kony with all your heart. Just don’t support the campaign itself. It all seems a little shady to me, and at the end of the day it won’t help anyone except InvisibleChildren themselves (who claim to be a non-profit organization by the way.) Just my two cents on the issue..
“Misguided solutions have the potential to make problems worse, and calling for the American military to get more involved in the middle of our continent is likely to make things much worse indeed.”
